Ponca City Medical Center (PCMC) is a 140-bed facility offering comprehensive health services to Ponca City and the surrounding communities of north central Oklahoma comprising the Oklahoma Gateway economic region. PCMC provides the full-spectrum of medical services including a fully-staffed Level 2 trauma emergency care department, a Women’s Center, and comprehensive intensive care services. PCMC employs over 365 area residents, and physicians representing 24 medical specialties practice there.

Situation
PCMC was in need of a total radiology services solution to address the imaging needs of their growing community. Prior to EagleEye, their radiology services were provided by a combination of two Oklahoma groups and a national teleradiology company. PCMC was looking for ways to improve both physician and patient satisfaction while simultaneously improving management of their cost structure. EagleEye provided a customized radiology solution, which combined full-time onsite services and complete afterhours teleradiology coverage. Additionally, EagleEye provided PCMC with dedicated women’s imaging services.
